This set from the Japanese maker Tamiya contains turned brass rounds and cases in 75 mm and 105 mm caliber in 1:35 scale, intended for the German StuG III self-propelled gun. The metal version offers sharp definition and the natural sheen of brass. The ammunition serves to fill the ammunition racks in the interior or as a detail in a diorama.
The StuG III was built with a shorter and a longer 75 mm gun and in a howitzer version of 105 mm caliber, so this set covers both of the usual armament variants. Ammunition laid out gives an open model and a diorama alike their credibility: the projectiles and cases can be stowed in racks, leaned against the vehicle or arranged around a loading crew.
