A decal sheet in 1:35 scale with markings for the T-34/76 Model 1943 tank in German captured service. An accessory that turns an ordinary Soviet machine into an unusual subject.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-34/76 was the main Soviet medium tank of the Second World War and the Germans got to know it from its most unpleasant side. Machines left on the battlefield still running or repairable were therefore taken into their own units. A captured T-34 had one fundamental disadvantage for its crew: from the outside it could not be told apart from enemy vehicles, so the markings became a question of survival. The crosses were painted as large as possible, often right across the side of the turret and on the roof as well, so that friendly aircraft would recognize the vehicle too.
The sheet is intended for models of the T-34/76 tank in the Model 1943 version in 1:35 scale and carries markings for the version in German service. You can use it on any model of the matching version.
The items hold best on a smooth gloss surface, so coat the area underneath them with gloss varnish beforehand. On flat paint, air stays trapped under the film and the edge turns white once it dries. The application procedure differs from sheet to sheet, so follow the instructions supplied. Once it has dried, coat the model with varnish in the degree of gloss you want, which makes the edges disappear, and only then get down to the dirt and the chipping.
For modelers who build German vehicles and want an unusual piece for the collection, and for building Eastern Front dioramas. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
