The figure set U.S. Infantry on Board 1:35 from Italeri: ten American infantrymen in poses for the deck of a landing craft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures of American infantrymen in 1:35 scale from Italeri. The box holds ten soldiers modeled in poses as if they were sitting packed together on the deck of a landing craft on the run in to the shore. It is an unassembled and unpainted set meant to be built at home, ideal as a crew or as a diorama accessory.
The figures capture American infantrymen of the Second World War in the moments before a landing, with the equipment, weapons and helmets typical of Allied soldiers. The tense poses and facial expressions point to the dramatic moments of the landing operations, for example on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Every detail of the equipment and armament is worked out for a faithful rendering of period uniforms.
Cut the small parts off the sprue with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid polystyrene cement. Prime the surface before painting. A combination of brushwork and fine washes suits the skin and the uniforms and brings out the folds of the cloth and the detail of the faces. Add drybrushing to the flat khaki and olive drab shades for a three-dimensional look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
