A photo-etched detail set from Yahu Models in 1:35 scale for the UAZ 469 off-road vehicle in the Soviet equipment version. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory made of thin photo-etched sheet, which replaces or supplements the small parts of a plastic kit and refines their appearance into a scale-faithful form.
The UAZ 469 is a Soviet light off-road car that was used from the 1960s in the armies and in civilian use of a number of Eastern Bloc countries. It stood out for its simple, robust construction and excellent cross-country ability. The Soviet form corresponded to the standard equipment of home service.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife meant for photo-etched parts, on a firm surface, and clean up the edges. Make the bends on a photo-etch bending tool or with a blade and a ruler. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); before painting it is a good idea to degrease the metal and give it a coat of primer for better adhesion.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a model of the vehicle. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
