Brass photo-etch for the British AEC Matador truck 1:35 (mid version) from Voyager Model. A brass photo-etched detail set to raise the fidelity of the model; it is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Voyager Model is a brass photo-etched detail set for a model of the British AEC Matador truck and artillery tractor in the mid version, in 1:35 scale. The photo-etched parts replace and add to the plastic items with finer metal ones, such as grilles, guards, brackets and small detail. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory for a base model.
The AEC Matador was a British four-wheel drive (4x4) truck and artillery tractor used in the Second World War. It stood out for its sturdy off-road ability and served above all to tow guns and to carry equipment and crews. It existed in several production versions, which differed in details of the cab and the body.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife, make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, or with two-part epoxy. Degrease the parts before painting and lay down a primer for metal surfaces; it is best to spray the paint with an airbrush so that the fine detail does not get flooded. Fill the gap between the photo-etched part and the plastic with filler.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
