USS Sturgeon was the lead ship of an American class of nuclear attack submarines (SSN) of the Cold War period. Submarines of this class served for anti-submarine warfare and reconnaissance and were a widespread type in the American submarine fleet of their day.
The submarine can be built with a full hull, or as a waterline version with a water surface in a diorama. Take care over clean fit of the hull halves and over cleaning up the seam. Paint the hull with an airbrush and pick out the transitions between the black and the lower color gently. A suitable display base works well for showing it.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
