An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Pravda class submarine in its early version, in 1:350 scale from Mikromir. It is a short-run kit in injection-molded plastic meant to be glued and painted.
The Pravda class was a Soviet fleet submarine designed in the 1930s. These were large, long-range boats, and only a small number were built. The early version differed from the later modifications in details of the superstructure and the armament. The model captures the characteristic elongated hull with gun armament on the deck.
Decide whether to build the hull as a full hull or as a waterline model. Glue the small superstructure parts with a thin liquid cement for plastic and the finest pieces with cyanoacrylate glue. After painting, separate the below-waterline and above-waterline areas and bring them out with a wash; the model looks good on a stand or on a sea base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
