MASTER 1:350 USN 8in/55 Mark 9 (9 pieces) is a set of turned metal barrels for American naval guns of 203 mm caliber.
Responsibility details are not available.
Turned metal barrels for the American 203 mm (8 inch) /55 Mark 9 gun in 1:350 scale from the Polish brand MASTER. It is not a ship model but a detail accessory: nine precisely machined barrels for the three triple turrets of a heavy cruiser, which will replace the plastic parts of the kit.
The gun of 203 mm (8 inch) caliber and 55 calibers length, the Mark 9, made up the main battery of the American heavy cruisers of the 1930s. Triple turrets were fitted for example on the prewar generation of cruisers, which thus carried nine barrels.
The metal barrels have a faithful muzzle and slender proportions and do not warp as plastic does. Separate them carefully, level the seating face and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the metal before painting and use a base coat (primer).
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
