Abrex 1:43 Skoda Octavia IV (2020), Black Crystal Metallic is a finished collector's model supplied assembled and painted. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A miniature of the fourth generation Skoda Octavia in 1:43 scale with the body in black metallic. It is a finished model: it does not need gluing, sanding or spraying, and once unpacked it heads straight for a cabinet. Abrex concentrates on models of Skoda cars, and its 1:43 range is among the most widespread with Czech collectors, because it covers ordinary color schemes as well as service versions. A dark metallic is at the same time the most demanding surface on a model: the shape of the body stands out well on it, but every fingerprint shows just as clearly, so it pays to handle the model carefully.
The fourth generation Skoda Octavia was presented at the end of 2019 and went on sale in 2020. It brought a longer wheelbase, a roomier interior, a markedly reworked dashboard with a digital instrument display and split front headlights. It was built in liftback and wagon body versions with a wide offering of powerplants. The Octavia has long remained the brand's best-selling model and is among the most common cars on Czech roads.
The model is meant for display. A glazed cabinet or the original packaging on a shelf out of direct sunlight is ideal, because it is sunlight that finishes suffer from most. Wipe dust off with a soft brush or blow it away with compressed air from a distance; spirit-based and chemical cleaners do not belong on a painted surface and on a metallic they can dull it irreversibly. Pick the model up by the chassis or by the roof, not by the small external features.
The model is supplied finished and painted as a collector's piece. It is not a kit and is not intended as a toy for small children.
