A finished collector's model of the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia liftback in 1:43 scale from the brand Abrex, which has long specialized in models of cars from the Mlada Boleslav carmaker. The model arrives completely assembled and painted in the Titan Blue metallic shade, with glazing, printed details and its own base according to the form of the series. It is not a kit — nothing is glued, sanded or sprayed.
The fourth-generation Octavia followed on from the best selling model of the brand and went on sale in 2020. Against its predecessor it grew, was given a more strongly shaped front with a split headlight, a sharper crease along the side and a modernized interior with a digital instrument cluster. The liftback body with its large tailgate stayed what makes an Octavia an Octavia: a family car of the lower middle class with the room others offer only in an estate. The metallic paint emphasizes the drawn-out lines of the sides, which read well on a model in 1:43.
A metallic surface on models of this size is sensitive to fingerprints and to dust. Pick the model up by the chassis or by the roof, not by the mirrors and the wiper blades.
