Eduard 1:48 Canadair Sabre F.4 TFace is a masking set in the TFace form with stencils for the outside and the inside of the glazing of a model in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale in the TFace form. The TFace designation means that the package holds stencils for both sides of the glazing, the outside and the inside. The cockpit framing can therefore be painted from inside as well — on the large teardrop canopy of the Sabre the view inside is unobstructed and unpainted framing shows at first glance. It is not a model of the aircraft but an aid to painting. The shapes of the stencils are tied to a particular Sabre F.4 model in 1:48 scale, so check that it matches your kit beforehand.
Sabre F.4 is the designation of the Canadian-built licensed version of the F-86 Sabre jet fighter, introduced with the Royal Air Force at the start of the 1950s. The single-engine machine with a swept wing and a circular nose air intake belongs to the classic first generation of jet fighters. Its characteristic feature is exactly that roomy teardrop canopy with its good view.
Apply and spray the inner stencils before you seat the clear part in the fuselage, as afterwards you will no longer reach inside. The surface has to be dry and degreased, and the stencils pressed down all around. Spray thinly and in several passes; a heavy wet layer bleeds underneath. Take the mask off while the paint has only flashed off. Protect the clear part from scratches and fingerprints. First the interior shade of the framing, then the outer surface.
This is an accessory for a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
