The CMK 1:48 resin set for the F-4B Phantom depicts the open bay of the refueling probe with the in-flight refueling probe extended. The set is developed for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an add-on resin set from the manufacturer CMK in 1:48 scale. It is NOT an airplane kit but a detail set, which replaces a simple plastic part and depicts the open bay of the retractable refueling probe with the in-flight refueling probe extended. It adds detail that injection-molded plastic does not capture in this area. The extent and the shapes of the parts are based on the Tamiya kit.
The McDonnell F-4B Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic fighter of the Navy and the Marine Corps. The retractable refueling probe allowed refueling in flight and extended the range and the endurance of the machine during operations over the sea.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut the casting blocks off with a saw on a hard surface and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a better fit, try the part dry in the opening in the fuselage before gluing. Apply a primer for resin before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
