Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the German Fieseler Fi 103 guided missile, known as the V1, in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer MPM. The model captures the characteristic fuselage with the pulsejet engine above the rear and the straight wings. As a short-run kit it is intended rather for more experienced modelers.
The Fieseler Fi 103 (also designated FZG 76 and nicknamed Doodlebug or buzz bomb by the Allies) was the first guided missile used in combat. It was powered by an Argus pulsejet engine and carried about 850 kg of explosive; a simple autopilot guided it to its target. The first missiles were launched against London in June 1944 and became a symbol of the reprisal weapons at the end of the war.
With short-run models expect more careful cleaning up and fitting of the parts; small gaps are filled with filler. Glue the plastic with a thin cement for plastic. We recommend a primer and an airbrush. Because the real subject is small, the model shows to good effect on a simple stand or in a small scene with a launch ramp.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
