About product

FuG 218 Neptun 1:48 (Omask, 3D printed)

This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. A set of precise 3D-printed parts reproduces the antennas of the German FuG 218 Neptun airborne radar in 1:48 scale. It replaces or completes coarser plastic parts and gives a model of a German night fighter faithful technical detail.

Fitting and use

  • Separate the parts from the print supports carefully with a sharp knife
  • Glue them with thin cyanoacrylate glue (super glue)
  • The fine antenna rods call for careful handling and a light touch when painting
  • Position the antennas according to the documentation for the particular aircraft

Who it is for

For modelers of German night fighters in 1:48 who want to render the characteristic antenna array of the Neptun radar faithfully and raise the realism of the model.

This is a detail set, not a kit; the model itself is not included in the package.
