This resin detail set from SBS Model in 1:48 scale contains propellers of the VS-11 type for the German Heinkel He-111 bomber. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for the base kit, with which you replace the plastic propellers by a truer resin rendering with a crisper blade shape.
The Heinkel He-111 was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, deployed on a number of fronts. The VS-11 propellers were among the types of propeller used on its powerplants, and their faithful shape noticeably sharpens the look of the finished model.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the propeller blades in a flat dark shade and match the spinner to the color scheme of the aircraft.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
