A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Print Scale. This is not a kit, but a separate sheet with the markings of the fighters of the German fighter wing JG 52 (Jagdgeschwader 52). The decals contain unit insignia and individual markings of the machines, with which models of fighters in this scale can be completed.
Jagdgeschwader 52 was a fighter wing of the Luftwaffe deployed during the Second World War above all on the Eastern Front. Its pilots reached exceptionally high numbers of victories and the unit is among the best known in the history of fighter aviation. It flew mostly Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters in various versions.
A decal is briefly dipped in lukewarm water, slid off the backing paper onto the model and its position is adjusted. The excess water is pressed out, and a decal softening solution helps it settle into the detail. The best result comes from a smooth gloss base; once dry, the surface is unified with a matte or satin varnish.
These are separate waterslide decals. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
