Kamov Ka-27 Helix painting mask in 1:48 scale (SX-Art)

This is a set of machine-cut self-adhesive masks from the maker SX-Art for models of the Soviet Kamov Ka-27 Helix shipboard helicopter with a coaxial rotor in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit and not parts of a model, but an aid for painting: the templates cover the glazing of the cabin and delimit the areas for spraying, so that you reach sharp edges without laborious taping up.

Use

• You stick the templates onto the glazing before spraying, so that the frames of the cabin gain sharp, clean lines.
• Further templates delimit the areas of the camouflage scheme and the small markings.
• Apply them to a smooth, perfectly dried base and spray the paint in thin coats.
• Take the mask off soon after spraying, before the paint hardens completely, so that it does not tear the edge.

Who it is for

For helicopter modelers who want to speed the masking of the glazing up and reach clean lines. A corresponding base model in the same scale is assumed.

This is an accessory for painting, not a model. Paints, varnish and a kit are not included in the package.
