Responsibility details are not available.
A resin conversion set in 1:48 scale from the maker Aires, the Quickboost line. It is not a stand-alone kit but a collection of resin parts that make it possible to build the naval, that is carrier-based, Sea Mosquito version from a matching plastic model of the Mosquito. The set holds the parts needed to rework the features that differed on the naval pattern, and it is meant for more experienced modelers.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine multipurpose aircraft of the Second World War with mixed wooden construction, renowned for its high speed. The naval Sea Mosquito version was adapted for operating from the decks of aircraft carriers, and for that it was given among other things strengthened landing gear and an arrestor hook. It served with the Fleet Air Arm in the postwar period.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. The conversion calls for cutting and reworking the plastic of the base kit, so we recommend it to more experienced modelers. Dry-fit the individual parts before gluing and sand the surfaces carefully, so that the transitions blend into the shape of the fuselage and the wings.
This is a resin conversion set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
