Eduard 1:48 Seatbelts France WWII is a color photo-etched set of seat belts for the cockpits of French aircraft of the Second World War. It is a detail accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This color photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard imitates the seat belts of the crews of French aircraft of the Second World War. It is not an aircraft kit, but a detail accessory for improving the cockpit. The parts are pre-printed in several colors, so the straps and the buckles look realistic with no painting at all.
Kit belts tend to be flat or missing altogether. Color photo-etch replaces them with fine, shapeable straps that drape naturally over the seat and catch the eye at once in an open cockpit. The pattern follows the French standard of that period, so it suits models of French aircraft of the Second World War in 1:48 scale.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and shape the straps slowly. Pre-printed belts do not have to be painted; a fine dark wash in the folds adds still more depth. They are fixed with their self-adhesive layer or with a small drop of cyanoacrylate glue.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
