1:700 10.5 cm SK C/33 barrels - early version are turned metal barrels from Flyhawk for the anti-aircraft guns of German warships in 1:700 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels from Flyhawk in 1:700 scale matching the German 10.5 cm SK C/33 anti-aircraft gun in its early version. The accessory replaces the plastic barrels of a kit: turned metal guarantees perfectly straight, thin barrels with crisp detail, which markedly lift the look of the anti-aircraft armament at this small scale.
The 10.5 cm SK C/33 gun was the standard heavy anti-aircraft weapon of the large surface ships of the Kriegsmarine in the Second World War. Battleships and heavy cruisers carried it in twin stabilized mounts - from the Scharnhorst class through Bismarck to Admiral Hipper. The early and later versions of the mounts and barrels differed in detail, which is why makers of accessories offer both variants.
Cut the plastic barrels off at the root, pre-drill the hole for the metal barrel with a fine drill and seat the barrel dry so as to align its axis with the mount. Fix it with a small drop of super glue. Degrease the barrels and spray them with primer before painting; choose the final shade according to the camouflage of the particular ship.
This is an accessory set of barrels - the ship kit, glue and paints are not included in the package. We recommend checking compatibility with a particular kit beforehand.
