A resin figure of a Soviet aircraft mechanic of the Warsaw Pact period in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus, the variant marked (3). Together with the other mechanics of the line it will create a scene of ground servicing beside a Soviet machine. The casting is intended to be assembled and painted.
Without the ground personnel no aircraft would get into the air. Soviet mechanics serviced the machines between flights, checked the systems and prepared the equipment for deployment. The figure captures their period working appearance.
The figure is cast in resin, so before gluing wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. It is advisable to apply a primer first for adhesion and to paint the figure with a brush, with the emphasis on the face and the folds of the clothing; a final wash will bring out the details.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
