The set contains a pair of external fuel tanks of 230 gallons in CEFS form for models of American helicopters in 1:35 scale. The tanks are made by modern 3D printing in resin with fine surface detail. It is not a helicopter kit but an accessory that adds to the fidelity and the range of a model.
A system of external auxiliary tanks serves American attack and transport helicopters to extend their range on ferry flights and long missions. Tanks of this type are hung on the stub wing pylons and can be used across the AH-64 Apache, MH-60L, UH-60A Black Hawk and HH-60 family of machines. That is exactly why the set can be used on several different helicopter models.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut off the print supports and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Lay down primer before painting, then airbrush a matte shade and finish the surface with washes and pigments to bring out the detail.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
