This resin accessory represents the data link pod, which served to guide the AGM-142 Popeye guided missile, in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accurately made external pod with which you complete the armament of combat aircraft able to carry this missile. It replaces a missing or coarser plastic part.
The AGM-142 Popeye is a heavy air-to-ground guided missile with a range that allows an attack from outside the reach of air defenses. Guiding it by an operator called for a data pod, which was carried by machines such as the F-15, the F-16, the F-4 Phantom II, the Dassault Mirage 2000 and the F-111. Without this pod a Popeye store is not complete.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, separate the casting block and bond it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer before painting. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, the missile and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
