The resin accessory represents a service ladder, that is the wheeled steps by which technicians reach the upper surface of the airframe and the engine section. Service steps belong to the equipment that appears beside large twin-engine machines at every inspection. On a diorama they suggest maintenance: open panels, a technician on the platform, tools on the ground. First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a disc; with pliers the thin rungs risk cracking. Do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The structure of the ladder is broken up, so it pays to paint it by spraying in sections before the final gluing. A primer is necessary. The railings and handrails will stand fine drybrushing, while the running wheels and the underside of the frame will take light dusting, so that the ladder does not look new.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit of the aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
