Aerobonus 1:48 US Navy Pilot with bag - Vietnam War 1965-1973 is a resin figure of a US Navy pilot with a bag from the Vietnam War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a stand-alone resin figure of a pilot of US naval aviation with a bag from the Vietnam War period of 1965 to 1973 in 1:48 scale. It is neither an aircraft model nor a complete scene but a supplementary figure intended to bring an aircraft or an airfield diorama to life. Resin allows fine definition of the flight equipment, and the figure suits more experienced modelers.
Pilots of the US Navy of that time wore a flight suit, a life vest and a helmet; they used the bag to carry flight documentation and personal gear. The figure captures the typical period look of a pilot on the way to his aircraft.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways while sanding. Build the base up with a quality primer. Paint the equipment in muted shades, bring out the recesses with a wash and pick out the folds with oils.
This is a stand-alone figure, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and a base are not included in the package.
