The fourth figure from the series of ground mechanics of the air forces of the Warsaw Pact in 1:48 scale from the brand Aerobonus. The resin casting will add a human dimension to a diorama or to a display scene beside an aircraft of eastern manufacture. Each part of the series represents a different man, so they can be combined into a group.
At the bases, a staff of mechanics and technicians was responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. Their work was the routine maintenance, the inspection of airframes and engines and the preparation of the machines for takeoff. The figure reflects the appearance of the ground servicing of the Warsaw Pact period.
The figure is cast in resin, so before gluing wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. It is advisable to apply a primer first for adhesion and to paint the figure with a brush, with the emphasis on the face and the folds of the clothing; a final wash will bring out the details.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
