A resin figure, not a vehicle model. The casting shows a driver of the Royal Air Force from the Second World War in a pose behind the wheel of an airfield refueling bowser, in 1:48 scale. The figure brings airfield dioramas of aircraft refueling to life; the vehicle itself is not included and has to be bought separately.
Fuel bowsers supplied aircraft with fuel right on the apron, and their drivers were part of the indispensable ground crew. A figure in period uniform gives a scene both scale and a story and turns a static vehicle into a living refueling scene. The resin renders the folds of the uniform, the headgear and the pose adapted to sitting in the cab faithfully.
