A vacuum-formed clear cockpit canopy by Quinta Studio for a model of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-2 in 1:48 scale. As a replacement for the glazing from the corresponding kit it is thinner, clearer and renders the framing more faithfully. It is a detail accessory, not a complete model.
The Yakovlev Yak-2 was a Soviet twin-engine light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the late 1930s that stood at the beginning of the type line leading to the Yak-4. The glazed canopy covered the crew.
