Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut masking templates for spraying the Japanese national insignia (hinomaru) in the rendering without a white outline on a model of the carrier-based dive bomber Yokosuka D4Y Suisei in 1:48 scale. A perfectly circular insignia is very hard to mask by hand - a die-cut template gives the precise shape at the first attempt.
The Yokosuka D4Y Suisei (Comet), Judy by the Allied designation, was a fast carrier-based dive bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy of the Second World War, deployed from the battles in the Pacific to the defense of the home islands. Japanese machines carried their national insignia in several renderings; the variant without a white outline is typical of some of the camouflage schemes, which is why this set covers it separately.
Spray the insignia onto a cured, clean surface. Place the template according to the documentation for the machine you have chosen, press the edges down carefully and apply light layers of a saturated red; on a darker surface a light undercoat will help. A sprayed insignia has no edge of carrier film, it settles into the engraved detail and it can be weathered without restriction.
A masking accessory - the kit, the paints and the decals are not included in the package.
