HMS Royal Oak was a Revenge class battleship of the Royal Navy, built during the First World War and present at the Battle of Jutland. She carried main artillery of fifteen inches. On the night of October 14, 1939 she was sunk at her anchorage in Scapa Flow by the German submarine U-47; it was one of the first major British naval losses of the Second World War. The model captures the ship in her late form of 1939.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. Fine photo-etched railings, masts and boats will raise the fidelity. The model can be built as a waterline model or with a base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
