Flyhawk 1:700 photo-etched set for the battleship Nagato is an extensive detail set from the maker's premium line.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for modelers of ships in 1:700 scale from the brand Flyhawk. It is not a kit: it is an extensive set of photo-etched metal parts from the maker's premium line, intended for the kit of the Japanese battleship Nagato as she stood in 1941. The set replaces the plastic railings, ladders, bridges and other small structures that injection-molded plastic cannot capture at this scale. The ship kit is not included in the package and has to be bought separately.
Nagato was the first battleship in the world armed with 41 centimeter guns, and for most of the interwar period she counted as the most powerful Japanese ship. Her characteristic silhouette came from the tall forward mast built in the shape of a pagoda, that is, a stepped structure full of platforms and rangefinders. The ship survived the Second World War and ended at the postwar nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll.
The set is intended for experienced modelers. The ship kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
