The T-34 with a 76.2 mm gun was among the most important tanks of the Second World War. The version of 1942 comes from the period when the Soviet factories were driving production to its maximum and simplifying the design because of it, so that workshops without experienced hands could manage it as well. The fighting for Stalingrad lasted from the summer of 1942 to February of the following year, and the T-34 played the leading role in it. What is remarkable is that they were also built in the city itself: the tractor factory there delivered tanks practically until the moment the fighting moved into its shops.

The first part designation in the name says that the set is the opening part of a line devoted to one theme and that further sheets follow on from it. How many marking variants the sheet carries and which machines they belong to is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Before applying, compare the size of the motif with the area it is to go onto on the model.
Cut the motif out together with its backing paper, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and, as soon as the film begins to move, lay it in place and draw the paper out from under it. The base should be smooth and gloss. On the cast surface of the turret a softener helps. Only once it is dry do the matte varnish and any dusting follow, as otherwise the decal would be lost under the layer.
