This injection-molded plastic kit captures the heavy AA-70 airport firefighting vehicle in 1:72 scale. The vehicle stands on an eight-wheel chassis and the kit holds masking stencils and a decal sheet for two color schemes. The doors can be built open or closed.
The AA-70 is a heavy airport firefighting vehicle on an eight-wheel chassis derived from a military truck tractor. Compared with the earlier type it has a smaller water tank and, in addition, a tank for dry chemical agent, which lets it respond quickly to aircraft accidents directly on the airport apron. Its high mobility and performance make it a remarkable piece of airport equipment.
Assemble and fit the chassis and the superstructure before you close the body. Spray the large surfaces of the superstructure with an airbrush over a good primer; use the masks supplied for a clean separation of the colors. The wheels are in black plastic. Panel lines and gaps are brought out by a dark wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
