The Hasegawa 1:72 plastic kit of the AH-64 Apache Longbow attack helicopter depicts the modern American attack helicopter with the radar above its rotor.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded Hasegawa plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the modern American AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in the Longbow version, marked out by the fire control radar mounted above the rotor head. The model is built from plastic parts and is meant to be glued together and painted.
The AH-64 Apache is one of the most widespread attack helicopters in the world. The Longbow version added a millimeter-wave radar above the rotor, which allows targets to be found and anti-tank missiles to be guided even in poor visibility. The Apache serves with a number of armies and is the backbone of helicopter anti-tank defense.
Pay attention to the clear canopy — mask it before gluing. Leave the external stores and the fine antennas to the end. The typical dark green or gray finish can be brought out by lightly lifting the surfaces and a discreet patina; helicopters tend to be relatively clean in service, so keep the patina restrained.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
