A plastic kit of Soviet railroad combat equipment of the Second World War period in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM. The set captures an armored train in the markings of the 27th Division, and the plastic moldings are supplemented by a decal sheet. It is a model made up of tiny parts that collectors of railroad and military vehicles will appreciate.
Soviet armored trains served in the Second World War to protect railroad lines, to escort transports and to give fire support. They were made up of an armored locomotive and of gun or air defense cars fitted with turrets and machine guns. The markings of a particular unit, in this case the 27th Division, set this release apart from the others in the range.
Separate the tiny parts from the sprue gates carefully with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish the running gear and the interior of the turrets before closing up the cars. An airbrush and a base primer suit the large surfaces; washes and pigments for dust and rust effects on the chassis and the rails will underline the character of the subject.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
