This is a resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP. The model is cast in resin and is meant to be assembled and painted; it captures the look of the real subject faithfully.
The model captures an element of the Atlantic Wall with a Churchill tank turret fitted to it. Tank turrets were used on static coastal fortifications as armored firing posts set into a concrete work. The Atlantic Wall was an extensive system of German coastal fortifications built during the Second World War along the coast of western Europe.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces down (protecting your breathing). It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer is recommended; build the concrete surfaces up by misting light gray and sand tones, bring out the recesses with a wash and suggest dust or mud with pigments. Set the turret and the concrete work apart in color; rust and traces of weathering will make the post convincing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
