AV-8A Harrier conversion set 1:72 (Aires/Quickboost)

This set from the aircraft aftermarket maker Aires/Quickboost is a resin conversion set for reworking a model of the Harrier to the AV-8A version in 1:72 scale. The real subject

Building and painting tips

First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing, dry-fit the parts and fine-tune the fit with the base kit; the conversion assumes experience with reworking plastic models.
