The Concorde is a French and British supersonic airliner with an ogival delta wing, a drooping nose and four jet engines in paired nacelles under the wing. It flew in regular service from 1976 to 2003 and cruised at around twice the speed of sound. The landing gear is of the nose gear arrangement; the main legs carry multi-wheel bogies, which bear the considerable weight of the aircraft, and that is why the deformation of the tires is clearly apparent on a standing machine.
Wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water, so that the mold release agent from the mold is removed. Cut the casting blocks off and sand the surface over; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). In a larger scale separate painting comes off well: the tire in dark gray with a suggestion of wear, the wheel rim separately. Fit the wheels only after the airframe has been painted — on the Concorde the finish tends to be glossy white and is easily damaged by handling.
