Decals P-39 N-0/Q-15 (G. A. Rechkalov) 1:72 are a set of waterslide decals for models of the Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML, devoted to Bell P-39 Airacobra aircraft in the N-0 and Q-15 versions. The subjects relate to the fighter pilot Grigory Rechkalov, one of the leading Soviet aces. This is not a kit but aftermarket markings for finishing a model.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra had an unusual layout with the engine behind the pilot and a nosewheel landing gear. In the Soviet Air Force it proved itself at low and medium altitudes and a number of Soviet aces ran up high scores on it. Rechkalov was among the most successful pilots who fought with the Airacobra.
Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat to prevent decal silvering. In 1:72 scale the subjects are small, so work with tweezers and plenty of water. A decal softener helps them settle over the panel lines. Once dry, seal them with a final clear coat.
This is a decal set only. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
