This product is not an airplane model but a small resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand (Aires). It holds finely cast gun barrels and a pitot tube that replace the coarser or soft plastic parts from the kit. Without the base aircraft kit you cannot use it.
The Lavochkin La-5 was a single-seat fighter with a radial engine. Thin barrels and the pitot tube are among the finest protruding features of the airframe; precise resin castings hold the correct shape and straightness that are hard to reach in plastic.
Carefully separate the parts from the casting blocks, clean up the cuts and wash the mold release agent off the castings. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); fit the thin parts at the end of the build so that they do not get damaged. Protect your airways when sanding resin. The metal areas can be picked out in a steel or metal shade.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and requires the base aircraft kit, which is not included in the package.
