A set of accurately turned metal parts from the Polish maker MASTER for the plastic model of the Messerschmitt Me 163A Komet rocket aircraft in 1:72 scale. According to its name it contains the metal muzzles of the MG 151 cannon barrels and a pitot tube. It is neither a model nor a kit, but a package of detailing accessories replacing the corresponding plastic parts.

The real subject

The Me 163 Komet was a German rocket-powered interceptor from the end of the Second World War, remarkable for its tailless layout and its rocket engine. The A version was the earlier training and development one. Small metal details raise the overall impression of a small model markedly.

Use

• Cut the original plastic parts off and clean up the areas.
• Predrill the mounting holes as required.
• Glue the metal parts in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
• The brass can be blackened for a faithful look to the weapon muzzles.
