Hawker Hurricane Mk.Ia Late British Aces 1940 1:72 from Hobby 2000 is an injection-molded plastic kit with quality decals and masks.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Hawker Hurricane Mk.Ia fighter in its late form, 1:72 scale. The Polish Hobby 2000 edition combines a proven injection mold with decals printed by Cartograf for the machines of British aces of 1940 and with masks for the glazing. The model is supplied unassembled.
Alongside the Spitfire, the Hurricane was the main fighter of the Royal Air Force in the Battle of Britain. Late Mk.I machines received, among other things, a constant-speed propeller, which improved their performance. It was the Hurricanes that shot down most of the German aircraft in 1940 and became a symbol of the defense of Britain in its hardest period.
The build is rewarding even for the moderately advanced. Use liquid cement for plastic, sand the fuselage joints and apply a base coat. Use the masks for clean cockpit framing; British schemes typically have an upper combination of green and brown with an underside in the sky shade. Lay the decals onto gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
