Wash and degrease the parts before painting, so that the finish holds well. Vehicles of the Japanese ground forces can be seen in a dark green finish as well as in two-tone camouflage; check the particular scheme and shades in the instructions. In this scale thin layers of paint applied with an airbrush and restrained emphasis of the shadows work best. It pays to paint the wheels separately from the body and fit them only at the end.
