An injection-molded plastic kit of the LIM-2 jet fighter in 1:72 scale from the KP brand. The model captures the Polish license-built version of the Soviet MiG-15bis fighter. The set is meant to be assembled and painted; take the exact contents of the package and the range of markings from the particular release.
The LIM-2 was the Polish license-built version of the MiG-15bis fighter, one of the most widespread jet fighters of the 1950s. It was a single-seat single-engine machine with a swept wing and the characteristic circular air intake in the nose. The LIM-2 aircraft served above all with the Polish Air Force.
Mind the clean fit of the fuselage around the air intake and the jet nozzle. Mask the cabin glazing before spraying. You can convey the natural metal finish of the airframe well with metallic shades through an airbrush; pick out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
