Rob Taurus Bf-109 G 1:72 is a vacuum-formed clear canopy for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G Gustav fighter. It is not a model but a thin-walled replacement cockpit canopy.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear cockpit canopy in 1:72 scale for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G. It is not an aircraft kit but a separate accessory. Thin walls and crystal-clear material replace the thicker part from the box and improve both the view into the cockpit and the overall realism. The way the parts are divided usually allows the cockpit to be displayed in the open position.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed Gustav, was the most heavily produced version of the German fighter of the Second World War. It received a more powerful engine and, in the later sub-versions, revised glazing as well. The divided canopy with its frames is a prominent feature on a model, and a clear version sets it off properly.
Cut the canopy out with a small margin, sand the edge precisely until it seats and glue it with canopy glue or a minimum of cyanoacrylate. Mask the frames before spraying and handle the thin part with care so that it keeps its shape.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and masks are not included in the package.
