A set of photo-etched parts for a model of the American M10 tank destroyer in 1:72 scale. Photo-etched sheet is thin and carries worked texture, so it suits fenders, grilles, tool brackets, lugs and clasps. On a vehicle with an open turret you can moreover look into the fighting compartment, and that is exactly where small metal detail pays off most. The scope of the set is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The M10 was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War. It arose on a chassis derived from the M4 Sherman medium tank and its recognition feature is an open turret with markedly sloped walls.
For modelers of hardware in a small scale who object to plastic parts looking like thick slabs once sprayed. The work is fine and calls for patience, but the result shows even in a photograph of a finished model. For the British conversion of the same vehicle the supplier lists a separate item.
The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. Which kit the set is cut for is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
