M4 (105) HVSS Sherman 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the American Sherman version with a 105 mm howitzer and the wide HVSS running gear from UM.

This kit represents the American M4 Sherman medium tank in the version with a 105 mm howitzer and the chassis with horizontal volute spring suspension (HVSS) in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from UM; it usually comes with a small photo-etched fret and a decal sheet. Link-and-length track links and separate running gear parts tend to be part of the set.
The M4 (105) version carried a 105 mm howitzer instead of an anti-tank gun, intended for fire support of the infantry. The HVSS chassis with wider tracks improved the handling and lowered the ground pressure. These tanks were fielded in the closing phase of the Second World War.
Assemble the running gear and the wider HVSS tracks first, and close the hull only afterwards. Glue the plastic with liquid cement, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. You will bring the olive drab color to life by lightening the edges and with washes and dust pigments; the howitzer with its shorter barrel is a striking identifying mark.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
