Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the maker Hasegawa capturing the Japanese F-4EJ Phantom II version in the service of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in the interceptor role. The model offers a realistic cockpit with a pilot figure, a well worked out landing gear, a clear canopy and decals for several Japanese squadrons. It is a proven mold from a well-known maker with good buildability.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was one of the most significant supersonic multirole aircraft of the Cold War. Japan operated the license-built F-4EJ version as an interceptor intended for the defense of the airspace. The two-seat, twin-engine machine excelled in performance, range and the ability to carry a varied armament.
Apply thin cement sparingly and test the fuselage joints dry. Finish and paint the cockpit before it is closed. A primer and gray shades suit the Japanese scheme; the squadron decals come out best on a gloss base. Even layers are best laid down with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
