The MiG-21bis Fishbed-L 1:72 is a plastic kit of the Soviet supersonic fighter from Zvezda.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the late production MiG-21bis version, which NATO designated by the code name Fishbed-L. The modern mold from Zvezda offers finely engraved panel lines, a cockpit with a seat and an instrument panel, and clear parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The MiG-21bis was the final and most capable production version of the legendary Soviet supersonic fighter. It was marked out by a more powerful engine and upgraded avionics and was built until the end of the 1970s, while in many countries it went on flying for decades afterward. It was one of the most widely used jet fighters in history, employed in both multirole and strike duties.
Assemble and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. For Soviet and export schemes an airbrush with both metallic and opaque shades works well; paint the stores and the missiles separately. The fine engraved lines come to life once a wash has been run into the panel joints. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
