Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23P fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Kovozavody Prostejov. The model captures the typical aircraft with a variable-geometry wing (a wing with an adjustable angle of sweep). The package holds injection-molded and clear parts and color decals. Check the particular package contents and the number of decal schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The MiG-23 (Flogger under the NATO reporting name) was a single-engined fighter with a variable-geometry wing, which allowed flight to be optimized both at takeoff and at high speeds. The MiG-23P version was a specialized interceptor modification for the Soviet air defense forces, adapted for guidance from ground stations and for the interception of air targets. The machine carried a radar and air-to-air guided missiles and served as one of the main interceptors of its era.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints down carefully. It is a good idea to assemble the movable variable-geometry wing so that it holds the angle you have chosen. Paint the interior of the cockpit and pick it out before you close the fuselage up; glue the glazing carefully with canopy glue. Once the varnish and the decals have gone on, bring the panel lines out with a wash and add the external stores that match the machine you have chosen.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
